What KAIVEGAN is contributing for the week

Most of the items are organic, except for those that I marked with *.

baby carrots, tomatoes
celery, bell peppers, cucumber
*pineapple, *cantaloupe, *mango
bananas, oranges
rolled oats
pine nuts
sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds
flaxseed meal
dried cranberries, raisins
fennel seeds, cumin seeds, cinnamon
bay leaves
barley flour
shredded coconut, unsweetened
natural cane sugar (this should last forever, love the smell!)
fire-roasted diced tomatoes
*silken tofu
brown rice crispies
cashew butter, peanut butter
ww linguini, 2 kinds of penne, (tri-color) fusilli
soymilk (got 4, used 2 up already! my kids are thirsty!)

* FROM THE ORIENTAL MARKET:
garlic, ginger
okra
chinese broccoli
chinese eggplants
baby bokchoy
baby bananas (for Aliyah)
frozen peeled edamame

Talk about stockin' up Kai! Can I come over?! Please? First I thought, wow, what a nice fruit basket, then I saw the list and just kept thinking of all the goodness as I scrolled down. Thinking this was over, I happily discovered that you also went to the Oriental Market. Awesome!!! Everything sounds great and I cannot wait to see what you come up with. Do you already have ideas? You must considering this array. LOOKS LIKE TREATS TO ME!

Did you buy your spices/seeds/grains/etc in bulk?

Thanks, Dreena. They do make the kitchen livelier.
Yes, Leslie. You are welcome to come over- bring some treats!
I think I got carried away this week, hoping I'd be wiser next week. I made (baked) falafel today. Also, the carob chip muffins from "Vive..." (that was so awesome!)
I've been cooking and baking a lot but haven't posted much. The little ones are really clingy lately. I'm seeing more stir-fry tomorrow.
And yes, everything I could get in bulk, I got in bulk. This is also serious education to the kids!

Maybe you can incorporate your "little ones" into the food photos?!? Ha ha, just kidding, as I just really wanted to see what you have made.

I think it's wonderful you have access to bulk items. They're great and cheaper than paying for packaging and marketing.

How old are your children?

Hi, veganmomma. Thanks:)

Funny that you said that about the li'l ones being in the photo. I haven't really had any inspiring food photo lately and yesterday, couldn't resist taking pics of Z. not showing good food manners. That'll be on my next post. (yikes)

You know what I really wish I could get in bulk? SOYMILK!

How old are my kids?
The "boy" is 36, Aliyah is 8, Zurielle is 2 (she's turning 3 on the 30th, yay) and Lyrica is one.
