Turtle Mountain products
I must be the only person in the planet that didn't like ice cream, but I'm joining the rest of you today with this So Delicious Mint Marble Fudge goodness.Check out other Turtle Mountain's products if you haven't. The Sweet Nothings bars are a favorite here. Definitely not health food, but much more wholesome than the others I've seen.

I always keep at least 1 kind of ice cream in the house. Usually there's more than one container and I love ice cream so much. It makes me super-happy. Congrats to you on the joys of ice cream.
My favorite is the mocha almond fudge . . . mmm . . . but that one looks pretty spectacular, too! I love mint and chocolate -- next on the grocery list for me!
We are big fans of the Mint Marble. There is almost always some in the freezer. We serve it in ramakins so it lasts longer !
I left some info on amish mennonite childrens books on my blog for you in the comments part after you asked about them.
Cookies n' cream is my favorite!
hi girl:
did you get my e-mail with the recipes?
also congrats to oyur daughter for the blog!
Hi, Johanna!
Yes, I got your email and I apologize. I got it before a homeschool conference and a birthday weekend, (we didn't get home until Sunday evening) and it got burried with all my other emails:(
So I'm glad you stopped by here! Thanks:)
Ladies, the mint marble is gone within 30 hours! I'm meeting someone at Whole Foods in a couple of hours so I'm off to get more. Maybe we'll go with the mocha almond, too, Catherine.
Patty, I checked back in your blog and replied already. Thank you so much!
Leslie, I never really got into the regular (dairy) ice cream ever, at least the US kinds, but I'm curious- did your love for ice cream carry over from your pre-vegan/vegetarian days? I mean, did you like the "other kind" as much?
We'll be thinking about you next time we get cookies n' cream!
i never liked ice cream either because it tasted like milk. neither could i have it because it had... milk ! (i had an allergic reaction to milk the since i was born). so now i endulge in soy ice cream from time to time. i still can't eat much of it because of the sugar, but soy delicious makes a fruit sweetened version that is yummy.
i'm glad you're enjoying the goodness of soy delicious !
Soy ice "cream" is such a dangerous thing for us... Since it's not dairy, the guilt factor is much lower -- and so we want to eat and EAT AND EAT!
Mint chocolate chip has always been one of my favorites. I think I'm happy we don't have a whole foods nearby!
BTW -- did you take the photo? It's lovely!
That is one of the few flavors they sell in one of our stores! It's great isn't it?
Liz, I know what you mean, and yeah it would have to be an occasional indulgence for me, too.
Shawn, the photo looks professionally done, doesn't it?
It's because it's from Turtle Mountain's website, hehe.
Harmonia, it is good, and so is the Chocolate Peanut Butter that the kids picked today.
Mmmmm I love their soy ice cream! In fact, just fifteen minutes ago I had a bowl of their organic french vanilla. I love the peanut butter zig zag too.
Your blog is terrific. I wish my fridge, freezer, and pantry were as neatly organized and stocked as yours!
oooo I had a purely decadent/so delicious turtle tracks sundae yesterday : )
p.s. I don't even like real ice cream anymore, it's so grossly creamy.
And your daughter's blog --- <3<3<3 adore it!!
I only recently discovered Turtle Mountain, and I love their stuff.
Actually, Kai, I never loved ice cream so much until I became vegan (seven years ago, almost) and started eating the soy. I don't really care for rice ice cream, but it is ice cream, so I will still eat it!!! I don't know what's with me, I just love it and it makes me happy, especially straight from the carton! (its just me eating it)
I replied to your comment on my blog!
this reminded me, i need to experiment on ice cream for the kids! they loved the french vanilla version of this but i'd really rather make it at home so i know exactly what goes into it. i haven't tried the marble fudge though -- sounds absolutely delish! maybe we'll try it once and see if we can do a copycat.
