The Animal Rescue Center

I just checked to see what the children were up to. They had a blanket spread out on the floor, pillows on both sides, and cuddlies* lined up on top. They also had a cooler, food toys and a stethoscope. Knowing the question on my mind, Aliyah quickly told me that this is the "Animal Rescue Center."

I'm so proud of these kids...

*The term "cuddlies" seems more appropriate than "stuffed animals."

so adorable. I remember one day when my youngest was little - maybe 4. She was sitting in the back seat singing and when I turned down the radio to listen she was singing "We Shall Overcome" in this precious strong voice. Aren't they amazing?

This is adorable - exactly what I used to do when I was about ten years younger... okay, more like five. Or even four. I still don't think I've grown up (but I don't think I should have yet, at 17). I think my mum preferred when I was really little though, because when I got older the real animals started coming in... :-)

So heartwarming, Kai!! These are moments we never forget. I agree that 'cuddlies' is much, much better than "stuffed animals" (never thought of it that way before!) Precious.

p.s. freedom - stop reminding us how much older we are!! ("what I used to do about five years ago") Oh dear!! jk of course! :)

Hi!! I hope you dont' think me too weird, I was looking at random blogs and found this post.
It makes my heart smile to see things such as these, for tomorrow the world will belong to the young and I do pray for a day that the kids take over and treat the animals well!!
I run an animal rescue and they can be on my team anyday:)
Blessings and Light to you and the kids...
