Everybody's Happy on Fathers' Day!

This morning, Zurielle woke up looking for Daddy. When I told her that he's at work and that it is Monday today, she replied, "I want to say 'Happy Fathers Day' to him!"

My hubby also had his birthday last week, and it was a week-long celebration for the kids.

And for some strawberry picking in the afternoon:

Aliyah seemed to take this very seriously. She picked the best strawberries, too.
The girls had so much fun with their own baskets for the strawberries they picked.
Even little Lyrica got in the act, with Daddy's help, of course.
Sweetie, I hope you had a great Fathers' Day. We love you!

Your children are beautiful (do I always say that when you post photos of them!?). These photos show so much peace and innocence with the children barefoot picking fruits.

Do you mind me asking where you went berry picking? I have been looking for a place to go without much luck! If you know of a place to pick blueberries too I would love to know that as well!

Thank you so much!

Melody, Teddy and Harmonia- thanks for the nice comments!

Leslie- you are welcome to say that all the time... and thank you for the nice words!

Courtney- we went here:
http://www.aftonapple.com/strawberries.htm

but would probably try a different one next time. I don't have a place for blueberries to recommend, but you could go to the MN Grown website or just do a google on it.

K- you are ever so sweet!

Patty and Johanna- thanks for the blessings!

Patty, glad to see you back!

Your family is so happy and cute! I've never made it out to Afton for strawberries. Usually I make it in time for raspberries and apples.

Ryan and I were just talking about going soon, but we were concerned about if they use pesticides or not.

Here's a comment back to Courtney from Minneapolis. I keep a list of all the fruit farms inside my cupboards and here are some for blueberries:

Bauer Berry Farm in Champlin
The Berry Patch in Forest Lake
Covered Bridge Farm in Forest Lake
Natura Farms in Marine on St. Croix
Rod's Berry Farm in North Branch

Of course call before to make sure their fruits are coming in ;)

Good luck!

Crystal
