Midweek Munchies
Here's $26 worth of mostly organic goodness from the Produce Exchange at the Midtown Global Market. The kids and I went to Trader Joe's yesterday to pick up more whole wheat pizza dough and frozen fruits. The lady who was stocking the pizza doughs up told me that her son would not let her come home without them. The bagger said, "I must let you know, these are very good." Lady, I know. That's why I got four. Thanks to Crystal and Ryan for the pizza dough mention on their blog.
I also got a bottle of Pomegranate Vinegar which I think would be excellent with Jess of Get Sconed's pasta.
So, how's that for a quick Midweek Munchies?

Great list!!! Those Green peppers look perfect!
I wish we had more organic fruits an veggies here...heck our farmers market doesn't even start until mid-july! Sheesh!
:)
All those organic fruits and veggies look heavenly. I love nothing more than coming home to kitchen overflowing with fruit and veggies. Just wondering did you but the "almost 100% whole wheat" pizza dough at TJ's? I keep looking at it and saying 'maybe next time'.

A-ha - couldn't resist the pizza dough huh? I'll have to try the whole wheat one next time. Thanks for the mention :)
I hope to make it to Midtown Global Market this weekend. We'll see - I'm sure it will be swamped since it's the grand opening. I'm craving some momo's from Everest Cafe.

Harmonia, I'm so anxious for the farmers market also. Not to rub it in, but there's an all-organic (local farm) produce stand by us that's open in the summer and early fall.
Teresa, the pizza dough package says 100% whole wheat. It's in plastic bags in the refrigerated section.
Crystal, you're welcome and thanks! Let us know how the Global Market opening went.
This is a great MwM!
Fresh pineapple! I must search for one this weekend when I finally make it to the store!
Hi Kai
