One Today!

Today is a special day. Our cruelty-free, compassionate, vegan kitchen is one year old!

Okay, so it has seen fish a few times, but other than that, it is a proud kitchen.

Not a drop of dairy... not a drop of flesh...

but enjoyable meals everyday of the week.

Hey, Jess! Thanks!

Julie- lol. I'm keeping track because it's a "convert" and a happy one!

Oh, and I hope you're enjoying your new place!

Wonderful!
I'm working on my kitchen. It still likes cheese. Since we've moved to our new place, there has been no meat in here. That's 8 months ago. Maybe I'll throw hubby's "meat frying pan" away. If he hasn't used it by the time it's a year, I will.

Wooo hooo!!!! You need to celebrate now with some cake, or cookies - or both! :)

Seriously, great job, and you are teaching your children such excellent, healthy food and eating habits. I think the first few weeks of making the changes are the hardest, and then you come to see how exciting other foods are, and become more creative (well, I think you were always very creative, from your food posts!!) Pat yourselves on the back, and yeah, go have some cookies! :)

Thanks everyone for the congratulations and the nice comments!

Dreena- too funny! I've been trying to stay away from cookies (and cookie posts) this week and here you are telling me to make some.
