Hello Again
Should I tell you about the sights in Italy...
the shopping in Paris... the strolls in London...
the hues of Greece...
or the evenings in Venice?
I better not. I never went there anyway. But I'm glad to be back... from blog hibernation.
I might as well tell you of my short trips to the organic produce stand nearby, the Gardens of Eagan. It is such a pleasure to have locally grown organic produce available everyday in the summer and I could only imagine how wonderful it is living in an area where the bounties are available year-round. I've been enjoying all kinds of melons- red, yellow, orange, and in between, and have not been adventurous lately on trying new recipes. I'm saving that for the cooler days, but not the baking! In that area, we are always up for adventure. More on that at coming posts.
Now, to break the iceberg:
I didn't have the one ingredient which in my opinion, makes this recipe interesting, but that didn't stop me from making Speedvegan's Paella. It was rather nice even without the beer, and one that I would make again, and again. Another winner, Liz!
Since making Susan of FatFree Vegan blog's Pineapple Coffee Cake a few weeks ago, I have read of others blogging about it, but hey, better late than never. This cake is worth the space!

And now, I'm leaving you with "the girl with the pot hat" and an eye and a hand for order-
and a promise to be back with some unusual (and the usual) food.
